Platform No. 1 is a massive effort over a 6 year period by GCRN volunteers led by Project Director Peter Wilson, funded by volunteers through LNER GC Heritage Trust and Main Line Steam Trust (now DCRT) which invested over £75,000 in this high quality facility, worth well over £300,000.
